Job Title: Licensed Counselor
Mindful Connection Counseling is a growing private practice that aims to support individuals seeking trauma specialized counseling. We are passionate about helping people with religious harm and childhood trauma access their inherent wisdom, healing powers, and resilience that often trauma cuts them off from. We value cultural competency and honoring the intersectional identities of our clients and each other. What will you be doing?
This position is a 1099 contract position to provide individual trauma counseling. It will build to part-time and has potential to build to a full caseload. This contractor has the agency and autonomy to decide what full looks like for them up to 25 clients a week, (we know from the research that past this causes a decrease in the quality of therapy being provided).
What do we need from you?
- Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, or Licensed Social Worker
- Licensed in Colorado
- Located near Denver, CO
- Experienced in providing online therapy
- Specialty trained in trauma work
- Passionate about helping individuals recover from religious harm
What else would be excellent additions?
- Is trained in EMDR, IFS or other trauma specialized approaches
- Is looking for collaboration with other professionals while also enjoying the independence and personal agency that online therapy affords
- Has or is willing to get licensed in Florida
- Specialty trained/experienced in supporting LGBTQ+ clientele
- Specialty trained/experienced in religious trauma work
What will we provide to you?
- The online video platform, record keeping, billing and scheduling software
- Marketing to build your case load
- Website/SEO and online presence
- Monthly consultation meetings and support (potential for biweekly)
- $300 for CEUs annually
- Legal compliance advice as needed
